The IWC does have beautiful line up, and seems to have be able to offer all of the extra register one would want in
a fine line chronograph, but I have always been a purest when it came to watches, I stay away from watch companies that are
more known for there couture. I ave and IWC Porsche, and I haven't found anyone who know what the IWC watch company.

I collect autowind, circa 1950 to 79. For example, I owned a Gallet from the 80's came from the Warhol's
collection long before he passed on. I sold it to Jeff Stein Esq.. in Atlanta. Now that was a nice every
clean line watch. To address the issue that some are taking to the IWC line up is more to to the
over saturation of nuvo designers that will sell a watch with their name on it and yet the movement is
a gen. issue from ETA. I am in my 40's and I find most of my peers are follower of the "grand advertising
machine", therefore they buy a name they recognize. I started collecting after I received an heirloom from
my grandfather, circa 50s Airking precision. I bought an estate piece, Baume & Mercier, looked like
a Gruen veri-thin. rose gold. My daily watch is a Swatch irony "Waterfall" Chronograph, SS band
with Blk rubber link insert and black dial, MY I am gonna be on the Ellen show watch, would be either
my casual 76' Seiko 6309 or my 40mm Yacht-Master SS/ Platinum.
