Chopard and H. Stern at the 66th Annual Golden Globes
Conservative seemed to be the rule for this year’s Golden Globes ceremony. Black, white and various shades of silver were everywhere as celebrities overwhelmingly chose to keep their fashion choices classic and simple. While this surely minimized opportunities for critics to either deride or champion particular outfits, there was a lot to see including a dazzling representation of designer diamond jewelry.
Best actress winner Kate Winslet was the belle of the evening wearing an elegant black Yves Saint Laurent dress paired with 10 carat oval diamond drop earrings and a 5-row 47 carat diamond bracelet, both from Chopard. Other stars who chose to don Chopard diamonds included Mary-Louise Parker, Jenna Fischer, and the always gorgeous Penelope Cruz.
H. Stern was also a popular choice being worn by mega-stars like Cate Blanchett and Tina Fey. Blanchett adorned herself with cognac diamond briolette drop earrings and 2 “Hera” collection diamond rings. H. Stern received further prime modeling space on Brooke Burke, Lisa Edelstein, Susan Downey (wife of Robert Downey Jr.), Taraji Henson, Viola Davis, and Amanda Seyfried.
This year’s Golden Globe event marked a move towards classic elegance and proved that both Chopard and H. Stern are iconic staples of the designer jewelry world.
